"Visit, Sea Trial, Purchase"

Visit:

Call me or Email me for more information.  If you wish to visit the boat I will communicate your name and cell number to SCOLA's care taker in Puerto del Rey.  The care taker has been with SCOLA during the summer season for four consecutive years.

The Marina, which is the largest in the Caribbean, is conveniently located in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.  This is a one-hour drive from San Juan airport.  There is a huge and affordable offer for flights from North America to San Juan (remember no passport is required for US citizens).

SCOLA is in dry storage, which give you full access to every part of the boat at your first visit.

There is a marine Surveyor in the marina and others are located in Puerto Rico.

Sea Trial:

If you want to purchase SCOLA, we will sign a contract, and with a bank check deposit of 10% of the selling price, we'll pick a date for a sea trial.  There is a $500 charge you'll pay to the marina for splash-down.

At this time, I'll fly to Puerto Rico to skipper SCOLA for the sea trial.

Options:

There is a list of miscellaneous boating equipment which is valuable.  These things include: a bosun chair, electric tools, and other items.  They can be acquired in at 50% of the list price or individually at 75% of their list price.

Final Sale:

Unless a major defect is discovered and acknowledged by a certified Marine Survey, the boat will be yours when you provide a second bank check for the remaining 90% of the selling price.  The certificate of sale will then be signed in front of a notary.

At this point you are now, as I was five-years ago, the proud owner of a wonderful Manta 40 catamaran.
